Roadstar Cub New Model!
The Roadstar Cub produces approximately 1 Watt, to allow true valve output stage crunch at practise and recording volumes. Like the bigger Roadstars, it has a very simple signal path, with just Gain, Tone and Volume controls, to allow the maximum response to your guitars input. The Cub is all valve, using 2 ECC83s and 1 ECC82, and it is fully hand made using true point-to-point construction. Tonally, it produces a range of sparkly, chimey “not quite” cleans, up to an authentic classic rock crunch, with a big amp sound helped by it’s push-pull output stage.
From £395

Goldstar
The MJW Goldstar is a single ended Class A amplifier with
1 x ECC83 and 1 x EL84 or 6V6 for 5 Watts, or 1 x EL34 or 6L6/5881 for 10 Watts.
It has gain, treble, middle, bass, and volume controls to produce a range of sounds from clean chime to raunchy distortion.
Using hand-wired, turret board construction methods, the amp is available as a head, or a 1 x 12” combo.
Also available as a power amp for manageable volume from standalone preamps and modellers.
Available with Power Scaling
From £420

Goldstar TT
The Goldstar TT adds an extra preamp stage to the already great sound of the Goldstar, for high gain rock sounds. The extra gain is switchable, and adjustable from classic 70’s heavy rock, to modern metal tones.
Available with Power Scaling
From £460

Roadstar 18
The Roadstar 18 is powered by a pair of EL84s, or a pair of 6V6s, in push-pull class AB, plus 2 ECC83s. The ultra pure signal path comprises only volume and tone controls for maximum tone, and uses the highest quality components, including British-made transformers. At 18 Watts, this amp produces enough volume for small gigs, and when cranked gives natural power stage distortion at sensible volume.
Options include a master volume control, valve rectifier and an effects loop.
Available with Power Scaling
From £550

Roadstar 18 TT
Add a switchable extra preamp stage with adjustable level to any variation of the Roadstar 18 for higher gain sounds.
Available with Power Scaling
From £610

Roadstar 18 Mondiale
A two channel amp, one driven by an EF86 preamp valve, complete with 6 way tone switch and volume. The other, ECC83 driven channel has the standard gain and volume. Optional master volume.
Available with Power Scaling
From £625

Roadstar 36
Like it’s smaller stable mate, the Roadstar 36 uses EL84s or 6V6s, but this time a quad of them to give a nominal 36 Watts. This output stage is the choice of players seeking something a bit special, with chimey cleans and a full bodied roar when cranked. A clever half power control allows the use of any setting from 18 to 36 watts and at full power, this amp is more than capable of driving a full stack and filling large venues. The Roadstar 36 also benefits from a valve rectifier as standard.
Options include a master volume control, solid state rectifier and an effects loop.
Available with Power Scaling
From £660

Roadstar 36 TT
Add a switchable extra preamp stage with adjustable level to any variation of the Roadstar 36 for higher gain sounds. This can be foot-switchable on request.
Available with Power Scaling
From £720

Roadstar 36 Mondiale
As with it’s 18 Watt brother, but the power and tone of a quad of EL84s. Superb chimey cleans form the EF86, and classic, harmonic-laden crunch from the ECC83 channel. Or the other way round! use an A-B pedal for live channel switching.
Available with Power Scaling
From £755

V6-20
The V6-20 answers the need for classic British tone, at sensible volumes, with the option to switch between a softer, bluesy “60’s” sound, to a harder edged, “70’s” sound using the “Rock and Blues” switch. The preamp uses 3 ECC83s, and a pair of 6V6’s at 20 Watts give the power stage it’s voice. This amp also has a valve rectifier. There is a single input with a bright and normal gain, and a master volume.
From £650

Orion
The new MJW Orion is a twin channel, four KT66 output stage amplifier. The KT66 has been chosen to provide a warm, balanced clean tone at all volumes, and that unique rich crunch when driven hard. Giving sumptuous, complex clean tones on one channel, this highly versatile amp also delivers classic, roaring raunch on it’s second, foot-switchable channel. If that’s not enough, a variable gain boost can be switched in for a third option, giving you all the high gain tones you could hope for. The effects loop allows the insertion of time-based effects, and the half power option and master volume give you full control. Available in 45 Watt and 90 watt versions.
From £1145

New! The Orion is now available with a two-valve, fixed bias power section, using the 6550 valve for 70 Watts (clean). An ideal valve for both great clean and driven tones, it forms the ideal platform to allow the boosted preamp distortion to project clearly at gig volumes. Of course the effective master volume allows full control of all this power, so that this amp still performs well at lower levels, and is still very satisfying to play. The price for this version is the same.
Both versions of the Orion can now be fitted with a valve driven, powered effects loop as an option.

MJW FX Driver New!
The MJW FX Driver is a valve powered effects loop buffer, allowing the more effective use of the full range of pedal and rack effects in the simple passive loops fitted to some MJW and other amps. It is a high quality unit, fully hand made, with the signal passing through only valve amplification. There are Send and Return level controls to match the amp to whatever effects unit are in use, with minimum colouration of the tone.
From £275

Coming Soon: A solid-state version of the same device will soon be available, offering a lower cost option.
