Cub
The Cub produces approximately 1 Watt, to allow true valve output stage crunch at practise and recording volumes. Like the bigger Roadstars, it has a very simple signal path, with just Gain, Tone and Volume controls, to allow the maximum response to your guitars input. The Cub is all valve, using 2 ECC83s and 1 ECC82, and it is fully hand made using true point-to-point construction. Tonally, it produces a range of sparkly, chimey “not quite” cleans, up to an authentic classic rock crunch, with a big amp sound helped by it’s push-pull output stage.

Goldstar
The MJW Goldstar is a single ended Class A amplifier which can be ordered with a 6V6 output valve for 5 Watts, or an EL34 for 10 Watts output. It uses 2 ECC83 valves in the preamp. The TT switchable boost is now standard, and has it’s own level control. The Goldstar has gain, treble, middle, bass, and volume controls to produce a range of sounds from clean chime through raunchy crunch, up to a saturated distortion.
Using hand-wired, turret board construction methods, the amp is available as a head, or a 1 x 12” combo.

Roadstar
Available in both 18 and 36 Watt versions, the Roadstar is powered by EL84s, in push-pull class AB, plus 3 ECC83s. This output stage is the choice of players seeking something a bit special, with chimey cleans and a full bodied roar when cranked. At 18 Watts, this amp produces enough volume for small gigs, and when cranked gives natural power stage distortion at sensible volume. The 36 Watt version is more than capable of driving a full stack and filling large venues, and provides more headroom for cleaner sounds. The ultra pure signal path comprises only volume and tone controls for maximum tone, and the TT boost is now standard. Like all MJW amps, the Roadstar uses the highest quality components, including British-made transformers.

Mondiale
This is a two channel amp based on the Roadstar and uses the same 18 Watt and 36 Watt output stages. One preamp channel is driven by an EF86 preamp valve, complete with 6-way rotary tone switch and volume control. The other, ECC83 driven channel has the standard gain and tone controls. Superb chimey cleans from the EF86, and classic, harmonic-laden crunch from the ECC83 channel. Or the other way round! Use an A-B pedal for live channel switching.

V6-20
The V6-20 answers the need for classic British tone, at sensible volumes, with the option to switch between a softer, bluesy “60’s” sound, to a harder edged, “70’s” sound using the “Rock and Blues” switch. The preamp uses 3 ECC83s, and a pair of 6V6’s at 20 Watts give the power stage it’s voice. This amp also has a valve rectifier. There is a single input with a bright and normal gain, and a master volume.

Electra New Model!
Currently in development, but available to order, this is a 30 Watt amplifier designed to fill the requirement for a simple, medium sized gigging amp based on the classic British and American sounds. The amp can be specified in 2 versions, ‘Twang’ and ‘Grind’. Twang is based on the classic American sound of the 60’s, and uses a pair of 6L6 output valves, with a preamp designed optimised for clean to light-crunch chime and sparkle. The Grind version by contrast uses a pair of EL34’s for a muscular British sound.
Both variations have a simple single input, bright and warm gain controls, a full treble/middle/bass tone stack, master volume and presence. Other features are in development, but plug-and-play simplicity is the overriding drive on this model.

Orion
The MJW Orion is a twin channel amp with a foot-switchable gain boost on the overdrive channel. Giving sumptuous, complex clean tones on one channel, this highly versatile amp also delivers classic, roaring raunch on it’s second. If that’s not enough, the variable gain boost can be switched in for a third option, giving you access to a useful sound for leads or heavy rock rhythm tones.
The Orion is available with a choice of 2 power stages, 4 x KT66 in cathode bias (45 Watts) or a pair of 6550s in fixed bias (70 Watts). The KT66 has been chosen to provide a warm, balanced clean tone at all volumes, and that unique rich crunch when driven hard. The 6550 is a good choice for both great clean and driven tones, and it forms the ideal platform to allow the boosted preamp distortion to project clearly at gig volumes.
The standard passive effects loop allows the insertion of time-based effects. The half power option and master volume give you full control, so that this amp still performs well at lower levels, and is still very satisfying to play. Both versions of the Orion can now be fitted with a valve driven, powered effects loop as an option.
